In a dream world most women i know including myself would love a walk in wardrobe the size of a master bedroom.
The wardrobe is an essential piece of the bedroom furniture because it takes a large amount of the room space. I think a walk in wardrobe is better without a window as natural light can fade clothes so much better to have a bright bathroom with 2 windows. Finally as you re building the internal walls from scratch you could look into having a pocket door system into the en suite thereby preventing a swinging door getting in the way of either the wardrobe or the shower. Instead of lining them up flush to the walls simply propping them up freestanding allows this clean and bright bedroom to have a small walk in corner.
Install a set at the end of a long walk in wardrobe and use mirrored doors to maximise the feeling of space. As this meant a reduction in size for the ensuite careful design decisions were made to ensure the space maintained good flow and ample natural lighting. Shelves above hanging rails or doors can be used to accommodate less frequently used items hat boxes say and a set of closed cupboards will protect more expensive garments from dust. The key challenge was to convert a large existing bathroom into a completely renovated ensuite and walk in wardrobe.
Here s a spin on the usual 3 door wardrobe set up. Create a divider with those full length built ins to form a partially enclosed space that works just like a walk in wardrobe. In most cases a walk in wardrobe is found in larger bedrooms such as the master suite which is usually connected with an ensuite bathroom.
