Installing toe kicks is a very simple process.
Standard toe kick recesses measure 4 inches high and 3 inches deep. The old toe kick was made of particle board and absorbed water. Installing the toe kick is as easy as using countersink screws to attach the toe kick to the counter base. Trust me i know just like upper cabinets bottom cabinets need to be hung on suspension rails.
When installing the bottom cabinets screw in the legs all the way hang the cabinet on the suspension rail then unscrew each leg so that the cabinet is level. A toe kick is the small recessed space between the bottom of your cabinets and the floor. The quickest way to install toe kick is with a few well concealed nails at the base and then again at the very top of the toe kick. Nail the toe kick board to the base cabinets with finishing nails.
Pretty easy job to replace it. Cabinets installed with structural toe kicks in place need only finishing with a cosmetic plate. Installing the kick to the cabinet just two more steps to finish installing toe kick under your almost completed kitchen.
