There must have been something on them though they looked just like the others.
Originally i used annie sloan chalk paint in old whiteon the uppers and duck egg blueon the lower cabinets. I would reccomd a coat of white kilzs first as a precaution. The colour of chalk and gesso old white is a soft off white chalk paint colour that works with everything. Here annie is using old ochre.
Paint the cupboards in your chosen chalk paint. You can roll the paint on but i felt like brushing it on gave me a better result.
